Enjoyed a weekend break with our Grand children ,stayed in a deluxe caravan it looked brand new as if no one had used it ,The site was very clean .Grandchildren enjoyedvthe swimming ,going out on a bike with us ,the shows at night and the playground ,I thought the playground could have done to have more on for the size of the park. The shop had plenty of choice if you needed to buy any bits of food in. Had planned to eat out more but the kids were never that hungry.Did eat in the restaurant on the Sunday, restaurant was clean and looked very nice inside .we got the kids fish and chips which they enjoyed,We got the carvery but thought it was awful,food cold,meat fatty ,.Besides this we were very happy with our stay here and would recommend.
As a large group of 8 adults and 3 children (2 of which were toddlers) with 3 deluxe newer caravans. We arrived and the site was beautiful, very clean, very spacious and staff were extremely friendly. There was a huge que for checking in but this was to be expected. Once we finally had our keys we were pleasantly surprised at the caravans being clean and having everything you would need. The only down fall was no towels which was abit disappointing. Being a big party we brought with us lots of outdoor games for the adults and children and were surrounded by more than enough land to play on. It also helped that the weather was glorious for our 4 days there. The only downfall was in the middle of cooking in one of the caravans, the gas bottle ran out on the first night. After contacting reception it took around 20 minutes for this to be changed. We also checked our other 2 caravans for there gas bottle levels. Both were low but the maintenance guy explained that this would last around 6 weeks. However on the 2nd morning one of the other caravans woke up to freezing temperatures as the gas had also run out. Although I must add that within 5 minutes of contacting reception a 2nd maintenance guy was with us and changed both our gas bottles and was nothing but helpful. Whilst there we did swimming with the children however the pool was absolutely chaotic so there was absolutely no room for swimming. But if it wasn’t so full this would have been great fun for the children. We also did the dinokarts which were great fun - just be sure to book these far in advance. We also played in the arch arcades which was perfect for the children and attended the children’s night time entertainment; this was fine just very short. Overall I would absolutely recommend visiting this park.
